world of warcraft gold--Classes
The World of Warcraft has nine distinct classes to choose from. All offering various roles to group play and all having their own unique style of gameplay. Everytime you play a new class it will require altering your strategy.
About the Druid
Blizzard decided to include a variety of career paths to follow. As a druid you can be a bird for spying and a bear for melee combat. The druid is the only class that can alter it's own shape and become different birds and beasts.
It's awful when you join a group and immediately you're expected to play a certain role. As a druid the role you play in any group is uncertain. If they need more power, you will find a way to assist in the damage output. Sometimes it's just a matter of distracting the prey, so you bring roots to entangle their feet. Practicing the healing arts will allow you to fall back and keep your team safe with enhancements, and hitpoint restoration. In a single battle the choices you make may sample from each of these talents. It's up to you.
Those playing Tauren druids will never have trouble getting a group. This will be a high hitpoint monster who can heal and fight. Night elf druids are more magic oriented, and can regenerate their mana faster than a tauren, but will have significantly lower hitpoints.
In a Player vs Player scenario, druids do extremely well in parties with other melee characters. They can heal, purge poisons and negative effects, root attackers before they can get close, stealth in Cat form, and tank in Bear mode. They do not solo very well because of their lack of defense and comparative ranged damage to other classes is low, but they are a huge asset to a group. Specifically in a group with other stealthers, where no one expects a healer to emerge from the shadows. |
